Why these numbers matter chemically
Hydration — the reaction between cement and water that makes concrete go hard — runs fastest around 21°C. Above 32°C the reaction accelerates, the mix loses workability before you can finish it, and the surface dries faster than the bulk can cure — the classic recipe for plastic shrinkage cracking.
Wind and low humidity don’t change the chemistry, but they accelerate surface evaporation. Supplier coordination: the logistics layer

- Book the pump at the same time as the concrete, never as an afterthought.
